Fear Tall Grass is a single-player, 2.5D turn-based board game where you lead a zealot crusader army in a holy war against monstrous beasts threatening humanity’s survival. Roll your way through looping, branching paths filled with sacred banners, ancient statues, and fortified relics that grant blessings, resources, and permanent boosts. Every loop escalates the danger, culminating in a boss battle. Battles unfold as timer-based auto-brawls where your Templars and captured creatures fight side-by-side, spending Command Points for devastating abilities. Choose your route, manage your relics, and survive the pilgrimage.

Convert wild grass into fortified outposts, secure supply lines, and carve sanctuaries of Light from the darkness. Every tile claimed is a step toward survival. Every victory delays extinction. The board itself becomes the battlefield where faith, fate, and fury collide.

Capture the Beasts Once Worshiped as Gods

In the tall grass, every encounter is life or death... but also opportunity. When a creature falters, you can attempt to capture it.

Smash through the green button to increase your chances of capture. Wrestle its will into submission, and bind it to your crusade. These beasts, once revered as gods, now fight as your unwilling weapons. Victory means survival — and every capture strengthens humanity’s fading flame.

Master the Beasts

Not every creature is a mindless monster. Some can be captured, trained, and bent to humanity’s cause. But power without discipline is chaos. You must learn to control these beasts, manage their abilities, and unleash them at the right moment.

Build synergy between your team, balance command points, and master their strengths, or watch them fall to the wilds they once ruled.

Manage Your Crusade

Survival is not only about victory in battle, it is about order. Every item, relic, and captured beast in your inventory has weight. Choose wisely what to keep, what to sell, and what to sacrifice for gold.

Assign your most faithful creatures to the team, balance their abilities, and prepare them for the trials ahead. Overflow leads to chaos, only by maintaining order in your inventory can the crusade endure.
